For the 42nd year, the Bay Count Audubon Society is presenting its Travel & Adventure Film Series Fundraiser, proceeds from which are used for many and varied activities including education programs in Bay County public schools to promote wildlife protection and rehabilitation.

Films will be shown at 7:00pm on their selected dates in January and February and will be personally narrated by the cinematographer. Tickets are $6 per film. The …

This Thursday, January 26, Salty Sues in Panama City Beach is hosting ‘Yappy Hour’ in order to celebrate obtaining their city doggie dining permit. The event will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Salty Sue’s restaurant on Back Beach Road. The Man in the Sea Museum has been called, by some, the secret gem of Panama City Beach. Open daily (except Mondays!) from 10am until 4pm, the museum offers a wide array of information and history on all things underwater through interpretive drawings, dioramas, and written records. There is a large collection of rare diving equipment, including the famous SEALAB-1.

In fact, the SEALAB-1 is why I’m writing to you tonight.
